Content Creator at Roundtable Women Initiative
Roundtable women initiative is seeking a creative and skilled Content Creator to join our team on a part-time basis. Our mission is To empower women through improved maternal health, quality education, and sustainable social enterprise initiatives, fostering a brighter, more equitable future for women and we are looking for someone who can produce engaging mixed media videos that resonate with our audience.
Job Description:
As a Content Creator, you will be responsible for creating a 20-minute mixed media video each week. This role requires a combination of creativity, technical skills, and a strong understanding of social media trends. You will work independently from home but collaborate with the content manager to ensure the videos align with our objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce a 20-minute mixed media video weekly based on the script given.
- Combine various media elements, including but not limited to footage, videos, animations, graphics, pictures and audio/voiceovers, to create engaging content.
- Edit and compile videos using video editing applications suitable for social media platforms.
- Ensure all video content is high-quality, on-brand, and optimized for different social media platforms.
- Stay updated on the latest social media trends and video editing techniques to keep content fresh and relevant.
- Incorporate feedback from the team to refine and improve video content.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum qualification: Secondary School Certificate.
- Proven experience in video compilation and editing.
- Proficiency in video editing applications
- Knowledge of video optimization for social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Strong storytelling skills and a creative mindset.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- proficiency in usage of AI prompts to achieve desired outcomes is an added advantage
