Job Summary

The General Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Logistics Company, ensuring efficient and profitable operations. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, business development, and maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

Oversee daily haulage operations.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
Optimize fleet utilization and maintenance schedules.
Develop and manage budgets.
Analyze financial reports to guide decision-making.
Implement cost-saving measures.
Develop and implement business strategies to grow market share.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape.
Lead, motivate, and develop the haulage team.
Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Implement training and development programs.
Maintain and build relationships with key clients.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Address and resolve customer complaints effectively.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Prepare and present regular operational reports to senior management.

Strong understanding of haulage operations, fleet management, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
