Job Description:
We are currently seeking dedicated and knowledgeable Agricultural Produce Procurement Staff to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and procuring agricultural products, with a focus on commodities such as rubber, palm oil, sesame, and cocoa.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers of agricultural produce.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
- Monitor market trends and prices for agricultural commodities.
- Coordinate logistics for the transportation and delivery of agricultural products.
- Conduct quality inspections of incoming produce to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and plan procurement activities accordingly.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or related field from an agricultural university.
- Familiarity with agricultural commodities such as rubber, palm oil, sesame, and cocoa.
- Previous experience in agricultural procurement or related field is preferred.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
