  • The Software Engineer will be responsible for managing the TEF Connect platform towards ensuring the Foundation meets its key objectives of supporting entrepreneurs across Africa.
  • This role will also be responsible for engaging with TEF’s strategic partners in ensuring that key technology milestones are achieved, and the right support is made available to entrepreneurs who are receiving training via the TEF Connect platforms.

Responsibilitie(s):

  • Provide comprehensive support for TEF IT Solutions, including TEFConnect, MailJet, Survey Monkey, Netcore, Websites, and other assigned IT solutions.
  • Develop software applications from conception to deployment, adhering to project scopes and timelines.
  • Drive adoption and proficiency of all TEF applications through training and ongoing support.
  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and end users to ensure application designs meet business requirements.
  • Undertake Database and Server Administration responsibilities, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
  • Generate insightful reports and provide IT Help Desk services to resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and maintain accurate records.
  • Adhere to group governance initiatives and assignments to uphold organizational standards.

Qualification/Experience Requirement(s):

  • Minimum of first degree in Computer Science, or a science-related discipline.
  • IT certifications establishing competency in key software development modules.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the IT industry.
